The tower humidifier by honeywell is one of my favorites. It has one of the smallest form factor designs of any humidifier on the market and can fit just about anywhere. It is also very quiet, easy to use, and has many great functions compared to others on the market. Let’s break down some of the benefits of this specific humidifier.
Independant Humididty Control
This humidifier offers a control that will allow you to set the level of humidity you want for your room. I recommend setting it higher depending on the size of the room. A small room doesn’t require near as much humidity to stay at 50% or so, but a large room will require the humidifier run quite extensively.
Protec Antimicrobial Treated Filter
This filter is treated in a way that it will protect the humidifier from passing germs or bacteria through the air. This is especially useful if you are going to be using the humidifier in the room with someone who has a cold or flu. You don’t want to simply recycle the bacteria throughout the air. It also means you don’t have to dry out the humidifier as much as it will keep bacteria from growing within the cannisters.
Easy to clean, carry, and fill
With a built in handle and quick remove format, this humidifier is extremely easy to work with. The container can be removed easily and taken to the bathtub or a large sink in order to fill it or clean it. To clean you simply need to rinse out with warm water about once a week. After rinsing, you should let the humidifier dry out completely before re-filling. This will help keep mold and bacteria from building up inside the cannister.
